Participants who have completed the Claims module of the AlixPartners Case Management Platform training will gain a comprehensive understanding of the claims estimation and resolution process within Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. They will have be equipped with the expertise to efficiently manage claims in Chapter 11 cases, utilizing AlixPartners' advanced tools and methodologies. 

Specific Topics

  • 7 Stages of Claims Estimation and Resolution – Understand the comprehensive process, from initial estimation to final resolution

  • Case Management Platform – Claims Module –

    • Preparing the Claims Module – Gain hands - on experience in setting up the claims module by uploading claims categories, filed claims and scheduled liabilities

    • Claims Matching – Learn to update the platform to match filed claims with scheduled liabilities

  • Claims Assessment and Resolution (by Subtype) – Delve into the nuances of assessing and resolving claims

  • Claims Objection Schedules and Process – Master the development of claims objection exhibits and understand the procedural steps involved in objecting claims

  • Claims Reconciliation Reporting and Tracking – Understand reporting and tracking claims reconciliation, enabling clear communication and progress monitoring

To achieve this credential, our practitioners need to have:

  • Completed the 2-day Claims Training Simulation, which covers the topics above

  • Participated in an engagement where the Case Management Claims module was used.

  • Demonstrate the ability to use the platform in one or more of the 7 Stages of Claims Estimation and Resolution.

OR

Have existing, extensive experience with a five-stage Chapter 11 timeline, and with the Case Management offering. Existing recognized experts may receive a credential, without the need for additional training or skill checks. Proficiency is typically assessed on a case-by-case basis, with expertise ratified by Practice leadership.
